Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MaintenanceUp collects, why, and who can see it.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and sign-in method (email and password, or Google).

Work data you or your organisation add: locations, jobs, quotes, invoices, budgets, documents, photos and messages.

Site attendance: when a contractor signs in or out of a site, including the time and the site they signed in to.

Basic technical data such as device type and browser, used to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

To provide the service: running jobs, approvals, budgets, invoicing and compliance tracking for your organisation and the contractors it works with.

To keep accounts secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.

To send service emails such as invitations, verification codes, approval requests and job updates.

Who can see your data

Data belongs to the organisation or contractor workspace that created it. Within a workspace, access depends on each person's role.

When a company assigns work to a contractor, the contractor can see the job details they need to do it, and the company can see the contractor's quotes, attendance, reports and invoices for that work.

We use trusted service providers to host and run the platform. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep data for as long as a workspace is active and as long as needed to meet legal, accounting and audit requirements. Audit records are kept so that approvals and spend can be traced.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how it is used. Where your organisation controls the workspace, we may need to pass your request to them.

Questions? Use the Support page inside your workspace and we will get back to you.
